Greetings from Elizabeth |

Back to school time! Where did the
summer go? We have all our
children safely off to school. Our
oldest son is at Parker
Chiropractic College in Dallas, a
daughter at the University of
Nebraska, a son and daughter at
Baylor University in Texas, and a
6th grader in middle school. I
feel like we've accomplished a
year's worth of work these past
few weeks!
This is a great time to go through the closets and weed out what doesn't fit, doesn't look good and you just don't like and pass the items on. Old school papers lying around? Go through and toss or put in a memory bin for your child. Set up a Command Center to keep track of activities, school papers, etc. You can help make this a great year for your family!
Great ideas to do in September:
- Clean out the medicine cabinet. Safely toss expired drugs.
- Stock up on cold and fever remedies.
- Shop for bargain holiday airfares.
- Set up a Command Center filing system for school papers.
- Update emergency contact list.
- Look at the school calendar and get the dates into your calendar.

Overwhelmed by all the stuff? |
|
Are you wanting to save time, energy, money and stress in your life? Do you start organizing projects and then have no time to finish? Are you embarrassed by the clutter? As far as I'm concerned, the bigger the challenge the better! I specialize in helping you feel great about your home and office. You CAN get organized and with the right systems STAY organized. My clients find that by setting an appointment and getting assistance - they get organized and then spend their time on what is important in their lives.

Quick Organizing Tip |
| |
|
Do you
dread going into your laundry room?
Do half of your cleaning bottles
stick to the shelf?! Tired of seeing
the pile of odd socks? It's time!
Set an appointment with yourself to
tackle this area of life where you
spend so much time.
Take all the cleaning supplies off the shelves and really go through them. Have the kids go through the socks and if you can't find a mate - they're history.
When we had 5 children at home I had a different colored bin for each child. Their clean clothes went in the correct colored bin and they would then put their clothes away. I could tell at a glance who wasn't keeping up on this area of responsibility.
Have a hamper in each bedroom or bathroom and make it easy for the family to toss the dirty clothes.
Set specific days each week for the laundry and enlist the help of the family. |
