I hope the New Year has been going well for all of you. Did you make some New Year's Resolutions? How are they going? They never worked for me so I have totally banished resolutions from my life and am focused on setting goals. When you write your goals down they become tangible and have a much better chance of becoming true than just having dreams in your head. I would encourage you to take some quiet time and write down 30 goals that you'd like to see happen this year. Then break them down into steps and get these steps into your calendar. Just watch what a fantastic year you will have!
February is a great time to:
* Have your blood pressure and cholesterol checked.
* Get a dental checkup.
* Submit all outstanding medical bills for reimbursement.
* File income taxes if you expect to get a return.
* Inventory your freezer. Toss old or unidentifiable foods.

Time Management Tips |
|
Ever wonder where your time goes? Planning is the best time saver there is. I take 10-15 minutes each evening before I leave my office to plan for the next day. A good ideas is to overestimate how long a project will take. Other tips:
- Know what your values and goals are.
- You don't have to do everything yourself - delegate.
- The word 'No' is a powerful tool. If it's not in line with your goals or values, say no.
- Nothing can be done perfectly this side of heaven! Let go of perfectionism.
- Use forms to save time. Check out the free offer of 2 forms at my website.
- Please, oh please, use a calendar - and ONLY one!
- Cut out the TV time.
- Purge your files once a year.
- What's the hardest thing to do today? Do it first and watch the rest of the day fly by smoothly.
- Use a Tickler File and never forget to do anything again!
This is your life - take charge by planning it! FREE Household Forms Kit

If you keep credit card receipts in their respective file folders, staple an open business envelope inside the folder on the top back side for the unreconciled receipts. It's much easier to process
them when your statements come in.

Tips for Maximizing Your Closet
|
|
- Hang clothes by category and length to maximize space.
- Use 'double-hang' (one rod above the other) for separates to get more in the same amount of space.
- Adjustable closet systems allow placement of the rods and shelves so there's no wasted space.
- Shoe cubbies can be used to maximize shoe storage.
- Go through your clothes. Do I like it? How do I feel when I wear it? Be ruthless.
- Use hooks to store robes, night gowns and 'around the house' items.
- Get rid of empty hangers; they waste valuable space.
- Store off-season or infrequently worn shoes high up on a shelf in shoe boxes with labels.
- Label boxes with contents listed or atach a photo of what's inside.
- Use the proper hangers. Open end slack hangers and skirt hanger clips use less space lengthwise.
