 Greetings from Elizabeth

I can't believe how fast time goes. Weren't we just going through all the hoopla about the year 2000 and now it's almost 2003!

I hope this Holiday Season is for you a time of peace and wonder. Take the time for quiet among all the hustle around you. Find joy in the small things!

Why not make this next year the year you really and finally get organized?! If this is something that you've been wanting to do and it's been hanging over your head, now is the time to do something about it. You won't believe what a great feeling it is to get rid of what you don't need and give to others who can really use your stuff. What a great feeling to be able to find what you need quickly. And what a great feeling to have a sense of peace in your home and/or office.

Too big a job to do by yourself? Enlist the help of an organized friend or a professional organizer. You'll love getting organized...I guarantee it!

If you have a friend who would like getting monthly tips, please forward this newsletter. If you'd like to unsubscribe, follow the instructions at the end of the newsletter.

Have a wonderful Holiday season!

It's great to be organized!

New Forms for Free Household Forms Kit

I offer a FREE Household Forms Kit that will save you time. For those of you who already have the forms I have available some new ones. They are an Organizing Checklist for the New Year, Housecleaning Checklist, Credit Card and Bank Account Checklist, and an Internet Password Checklist.

Click on the link below and email me for the forms. If you just want the new ones put "Just new ones" in the subject line of the email.

Need a place to store the forms so they are accessible and other family members can easily find what they need? I have available for purchase "Our Family Notebook". It's a 3-ring binder specifically made to keep all the forms handy. I will gladly customize the tabs in the binder just for your family.

The notebook costs $10 plus tax, shipping and handling. Please email me if you'd like one and I will contact you for the information I need to customize it for you.

Protect Yourself From Fraud in the New Year

*The next time you order checks have only your inititals (instead of first name) and last name put on them. If someone takes your check book they will not know if you sign your checks with just your initials or your first name but your bank will know how you sign your checks.

*Put your work phone number on your checks instead of your home phone. Never have your Social Security number on your checks - you can always write it on if necessary.

*Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine, copy both sides of each license, credit card, etc. Keep the photocopy in a safe place.

*If your wallet is stolen you need to cancel your credit cards immediately. But the key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them easily. (Use the Credit Card Checklist from the FREE Household Forms Kit.)

*File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where it was stolen, this proves to credit providers you were diligent, and is a first step toward an investigation (if there is one).

*Most importantly, call the three national credit reporting organizations imediately to place a fraud alert on your name and Social Security number.

*The numbers are:
Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742
Trans Union: 1-800-680-7289
Social Security Administration (fraud line):
1-800-269-0271
